Unimat1 Basic
UNIMAT 1 BASIC was developed specifically for working with wood. The user will be delighted with the UNIMAT 1 BASIC, as their creativity allows them to form turned work pieces and jigsaw models, entirely by hand. Children and beginners can easily make their first steps in woodworking.
Included in the kit are the components for a jigsaw, variations of wood turning machines, a handheld and stationary sander, and a handheld drilling machine.
All the machines of the UNIMAT 1 BASIC are child-friendly. Due to the short strokes of the jigsaw blade, the fingers of a young carpenter cannot be injured.
At the same time, the accurate and precise cutting of the saw delights professionals.
Jigsaw
The powerful jigsaw can be used with plywood, solid wood (up to 7 mm), balsa wood (20 mm), plastics and thin metal sheets. No annoying opening and clamping of the jigsaw blade when cutting windows and notches.
Sanding Machine
The stationary rotating sanding disc provides the final touch to your work pieces and can sharpen your tools: scissors to carving knives, chisels, gouges, etc. It can also be used as a hand-sander for hard-to-reach places.
Woodturning Machine
The smallest lathe in the world creates elaborate pieces of turned wood. The small 12 V power package achieves an outstanding result with a distance between centers of 135 mm (up to 324 mm extendable) and up to 50 mm diameter, while still being childproof.
Chandeliers, scale masts, gun barrels, doll house furniture … all easily done.
Woodturning Machine Variations
Variation Small Woodturning Machine:
Tiny sticks of wood or soft metal up to a diameter of 6mm can be clamped with collets allowing for precise, miniature workings.
Variation Faceplate Turning:
The work piece is clamped on only one side using the faceplate. You can now hollow out the wood using the turning gouge, e. g. for an eggcup.
Handheld Drill
For drill and milling bits (1 to 6 mm). Perfect to reach those hidden places that
need drilling/ engraving.
child-friendly
The only child-friendly jigsaw in the world. The short strokes allow for precise cutting, but the blade can only vibrate and does not injure the skin.
